The mission of the Plant Breeding Training Network is to provide ongoing learning resources for the basic foundation principles in plant breeding concepts, as well as those cutting edge tools just becoming available to plant breeding professionals. Some of th

e materials in this site are intended for self-paced learning and include animations, interactive training tools and documents. Other materials provide for learning in collaboration with people all over the US/World and include webinars, discussion boards, live video chat capabilities, etc. We also have materials especially designed for teachers and extension educators to help in their quest to train the next generation of plant breeders.
